Two years of growth
Notes on the year
FY2025 was a breakout year for the Foundation. Total revenue grew from $8,265.58 to $46,669.78 — nearly 5.6 times FY2024 — and net revenue grew at a similar pace, from $3,942.92 to $19,808.23. Most of that growth traces to two things: our first Annual Gala, which brought in $16,498.14, and a broader base of contributed income that reached $28,071.64.
That shift in funding mix is the more important story than the growth number itself. FY2025 contributed income included $10,000.00 in grants and $14,280.00 in in-kind donations, alongside $3,791.64 in direct cash and online gifts — a meaningfully more diversified base than FY2024, when founder contributions ($4,803.50) made up more than half of total revenue.
Because FY2025 was also the year of our first Gala, a large share of spending — $20,899.63 — went to producing that event: venue rental, production, catering, and artist fees. That's why program spending looks smaller as a share of the FY2025 total than it did in FY2024. We're treating FY2025 as an investment year: the Gala is now a repeatable fundraising platform, and the relationships and funding it built are what we expect to convert into program spending going forward.
