Meet the founders and leaders guiding EducNation Foundation's mission to expand access to education for children in Haiti.

Fatton S. Francis

Co-founder and General Coordinator of EducNation Foundation. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Haiti until age 12, Fatton has partnered with Institute Samaritaine in Haiti since 2006 to help underprivileged children access education. He holds an associate degree in Industrial Technology from Ulster County Community College and a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology.

Alexa Zevallos

Co-founder and Head of Human Resources. Raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Alexa holds a bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Puerto Rico and works for an engineering firm in New York City. Beyond her work in environmental awareness, she has long organized programs benefiting marginalized and underprivileged children in her hometown.

Elie Jerome

Co-founder and Head of Finance. Born and raised in Haiti, Elie earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Université Américaine des Sciences Modernes d'Haïti and a Master's in Public Administration from the Metropolitan College of New York. A published author of two novels, he has worked in finance for organizations including Sogebank, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, The Salvation Army, and Norton Rose Fulbright.

Wilson François

Co-Founder and Head of Marketing & Public Relations. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Haiti until age nine, Angie is a Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in New York, with degrees from SUNY Delhi and Chamberlain College of Nursing. She is driven by the belief that access to education and knowledge is key to overcoming poverty in Haiti.

Co-founder of EducNation Foundation. Born and raised in Haiti, Wilson studied architecture and began his career at Sogebank before helping found the organization. He brings a blend of design thinking and financial-sector experience to the foundation's programs and partnerships work.
